The ‘ALMOST ALL ABOUT BTX AFTERNOON’ by munich face is a course for BTX beginners that covers everything you need to rapidly start basic aesthetic treatments with botulinum toxin injections in your practice. We will focus on the most common treatments with BTX, which are enough to cover about 99% of the patients’ needs regarding to BTX treatments in aesthetic clinics, today. We will give you detailed information on product preparation and how to treat aseptic and safe. As the understanding of muscular anatomy is crucial for good results, you will be provided a detailed, injection relevant anatomy lecture. Also, a short overview of the pharmacology and history of botulinum toxin will be given.
The focus of this course lays on planning and performing botulinumtoxin injections. This will start with patient analysis and patient communication. Our philosophy consists of an individual patient analysis and setting up a tailored treatment plan, respecting individual patient factors such as age, skin quality, gender and anatomic variations. A practical patient marking session will bring you confidence for your first treatments. Here we will talk about dosing and distributing BTX. Treatment of a patient by course participants is possible if participants bring their own patient and treat under their own responsibility. During the course, at least one patient will be treated with BTX by Professor Dr. Thilo Schenck. We will also give an overview on common mistakes and complications in aesthetic BTX treatments and advise you, on how to avoid complications and unfavorable results.
To be safe on all sides, we will provide you with the most important aspects on the legal background in Germany. For our German guests we will give you an introduction on how to correctly write an invoice for minimal invasive aesthetic injections.
